This Koyo drawn cup roller clutch with a plastic cage transmits torque between the shaft and housing in one direction and allows free overrun in the opposite direction. The drawn cup outer steel shell provides a small cross-section for use in restricted spaces, and serves as a raceway for the rollers. The clutch has molded acetyl resin polymer cage with an integral leaf spring for each roller, allowing continuous operation up to 200 degrees F (90 degrees C). The rollers are made of through-hardened, high-carbon chromium steel for heat tolerance and durability, and the clutch comes packed with lithium soap grease.
